FuelTech FT550 EFI systems were developed and created to put you in control! The FT550 ECU is an engine fuel control and monitoring system: electronic fuel injection, integrated dashboard, data acquisition, and power management system all-in-one! It uses the same FTManager software as the FT600, with the same features and functionalities--including the newest update that allows the user to update their fuel map by applying the oxygen closed loop corrections that took place from a log file. Map files of all the PowerFT ECUs are compatible with each other, meaning that you can upgrade ECUs and keep the same tune you had already. The dashboard design of the FT550 ECU systems feature an engine start button, new inclinometer gauges; and virtual LEDs for arrows, headlights and other functions. The touch screen allows editing the maps directly on the module (without the need for computer use) and seamless integration between the ECU and vehicle dashboard. FuelTech's IGN1A inductive Smart Coils are the perfect ignition coil for your high performance application, with up to 175mj of energy and a long spark discharge time of 3.2ms. These coils provide great idle characteristics, as well as the power to needed run your engine with high cylinder pressures from boost, nitrous injection, or even high strung naturally aspirated applications. Max dwell can be up to 9ms for short periods of time to extract the maximum output from the coil when under high boost or load. Under normal driving conditions 5ms of dwell is recommended. At 9ms of dwell time, these coils will consume 20 amps each while sending 150mA of current to the spark plug! At 5ms they will consume 8 amps each—so make sure you account for that when wiring them up on your vehicle. Installing IGN1A coils with one of FuelTech's PRO550 or PRO600 harnesses is a breeze with their plug-and-play V8 smart coil harness, giving you a complete wiring solution for both your engine management and high performance ignition system.

FuelTech's SwitchPanel Mini is a backlit keypad button panel that communicates with PowerFT ECUs via FTCAN 2.0. Their compact size allows the panels to be installed in any space, and the identification of each button is made through several predefined labels that come with the product--in addition to allowing you to create your own tab using the blank labels. FuelTech specializes in developing and manufacturing state of the art performance engine management systems, including their fuel pressure sensors. These replacement sensors are used to monitor fuel, oil, and wastegate pressure, as well as nitrous bottle and brake pressure (application dependent). Available options include black composite or stainless steel body construction and with or without a mating plug kit. FuelTech fuel pressure sensors are also available in several psi ratings, so choose the version best suited for your vehicle's style and application.

FuelTech FT450/550 Sportsman Datalogging A harnesses are designed around a Big Block Chevy, yet these harnesses have extra-long leads that allow them to be used in numerous other applications. They provide a plug-and-play solution to easily incorporate datalogging into any setup equipped with an FT450 or FT550 ECU. These harnesses come pre-terminated to plug directly into essential data logging input channels and have an extra input connector to add up to two more configurable inputs for sensors or buttons. They're also equipped with two extra connectors that allow the use of 10 outputs to control EFI fuel Injectors, ignition control through a CDI box with points input or smart coils (eight coils on wasted spark is not recommended for carbureted V8 applications).
