FuelTech Backpressure Dampening Canisters
FuelTech backpressure dampening canisters will make a great addition to your turbocharged engine. Measuring the exhaust backpressure is vital data required to best determine the true efficiency of your combination. By separating the backpressure sensor from the direct connection to the exhaust manifold using FuelTech's backpressure canister, the sensor will be protected from heat, moisture--and has pressure spike filtering naturally built into the canister. This filtering assists in protecting the sensor and allows you to see true indication of pressure in the exhaust manifold. These billet aluminum backpressure canisters measure 2 3/4 in. to 2 1/2 in. with mounting holes 2 in. center-to-center. The sensor port and hardline inlet are tapped to 1/8 in. NPT. FuelTech FT550 EFI systems were developed and created to put you in control! The FT550 ECU is an engine fuel control and monitoring system: electronic fuel injection, integrated dashboard, data acquisition, and power management system all-in-one! It uses the same FTManager software as the FT600, with the same features and functionalities--including the newest update that allows the user to update their fuel map by applying the oxygen closed loop corrections that took place from a log file. Map files of all the PowerFT ECUs are compatible with each other, meaning that you can upgrade ECUs and keep the same tune you had already. The dashboard design of the FT550 ECU systems feature an engine start button, new inclinometer gauges; and virtual LEDs for arrows, headlights and other functions. FuelTech offers automotive relay holders for 4- or 5-pin mini ISO relays (regular 40 amp relays). They're the perfect relay connectors to use with the 40 amp relay with built-in fuse. Their crimp terminals are rated for high current and are the special spring pressure contact terminal to guarantee great contact even under vibration environment. FuelTech FT450/550 Sportsman Datalogging A harnesses are designed around a Big Block Chevy, yet these harnesses have extra-long leads that allow them to be used in numerous other applications.
