Computech Weld-In Temperature Sensors
Computech weld-in temperature sensors are designed for use with Computech's EGT Plus Series, as well as DataMaxx data logger systems. The probe is a 3/16 in. diameter and utilizes an 1/8 in. pipe thread weld-in bung. The probe is centered in the tube using a compression fitting screwed into the weld-in bung, both of which are included. The probe lead has a male K-type connector on the end and can easily be shortened to your installation. The Computech weld-in temperature sensors are designed to be used with regular octane gasoline, high-octane racing gas, ethanol, methanol, and nitro mixtures. They cannot be used with diesel, as a specific diesel exhaust gas sensor is required.

Computech Exhaust Temperature Kits
Computech exhaust temperature kits offer an economical way of maintaining a consistent tuneup, week in and week out. The leaner your engine is, the hotter the temperature. The richer the engine is, the cooler the temperature. Where EGT sensors really excel is maintaining a specific tuneup. Once you find a setup where your engine is running safely and consistently, you can note the temperature and then strive for that temperature every race, ensuring your engine is tuned consistently. The kits include a 3/16 in. stainless steel exposed junction thermocouple, a compression fitting, a 10 ft. braided stainless extension wire, and a connector.
