This exclusive, limited-edition series 1:24 scale 2025 Direct Carlyle Tools Toyota Supra Funny Car diecast model showcases authentic, high-impact paint schemes that mirror the real-life version in stunning detail. In drag racing in the mid-1960s, Top Fuel horsepower began to be combined with bodied cars with altered wheelbases to produce the first "funny cars". The term "funny car" is attributed to Mercury's chief of racing, Fran Hernandez, as in "We need to beat those 'funny' cars. In recent years, a resurgence of interest in vintage drag cars has created many new "nostalgia" funny cars, which are newly made vintage-style funny car bodies mounted on modern funny car frames or, in certain cases, newly built frames that look close to the originals and are made NHRA legal. These "Nostalgia Funny Cars" often compete in various nostalgia drag racing events, such as the NHRA Heritage Hot Rod Racing Series, which includes the National Hot Rod Reunion and the California Hot Rod Reunion. 1:18 Scale 1965 Shelby GT350R Pro Touring Diecast Model

Pro Touring cars are built to be driven—on the street, on the racetrack, on the drag strip, through cones at an autocross; no matter the setting, Pro Touring cars are meant to be driven. Of course, that leaves quite a bit to interpretation, as it doesn't necessarily appeal to everyone … and, of course, there's the old saying, "Don't race it if you can't afford to replace it." This 1:18 scale 1965 Shelby Pro Touring diecast model is decked out in a dark blue paint finish with the traditional GT350 rocker panel stripe. Sporting Street Fighter Throttle wheels and tires and the reverse air hood scoop sets this one apart. 1:18 Scale 1933 Gasser Prock & Howell Acme Diecast Model

Tom Prock and Jay Howell formed one of the most interesting and successful drag racing partnerships of the late 1960s. At the time, Howell was working at the famed Logge Stamping Company overseeing their shop. Logge was a very large volume producer of drag racing chassis at that time—and along with all of their other projects, a guy named Tom Prock had a 1933 Willys that he wanted updated. Instead of going the standard direction, the guys put a Logge funny car chassis under it and were quickly informed by NHRA officials at their first event that the car was not legal to run there or anywhere in the gas classes due to said chassis. They raced the car here and there in 1968 on the match race circuit and then figured it was all done. Then the phone rang in early 1969 and the boys decided to hitch up with a couple of other gassers, load a nitro burning 426 Hemi into the front of their car and travel the country as "outlaw gassers." The F-Troop '33 Willys is legend for wild runs with Howell at the wheel. The car went into the 180s and in various interviews, Howell said that the thing was a complete handful to get down the track at those speeds. We can only imagine. This 1:18 scale Acme diecast model commemorates the legendary 1933 Gasser built and raced by Prock and Howell. A Limited Edition collectable, the car features opening doors, hood, and trunk; removable top and boot; poseable steering; plumbed and wired engine; tilting front seats; detailed undercarriage; and serialized plate.

1:18 Scale Arlen Vanke East Town 1968 Plymouth Cuda Super Stock Diecast Model

"Akron" Arlen Vanke was a working man's drag racer. Competing--and winning--in the Stock, Super Stock and Pro Stock classes, he set records with Pontiacs and, later, Plymouths, earning multiple Stock Eliminator titles with both marques. Through it all, he built the cars in a backyard garage and often drove his open ramp truck to the track and back. In fact, Chrysler hired Vanke to test their performance technology. In 1967, Arlen modified the RO23 Hemi intake manifold for racing. "NHRA rules allowed racers to modify the intake manifold, so I made the stock manifold into a plenum chamber manifold, " he said. Vanke's Hemi, along with the Sox and Martin team, gave Mopars so many victories in the late '60s that they dominated the scene in Super Stocks. In 1968, he built this incredible East Town Hemi Cuda, which helped him win the Nationals in August at Indy running SS/B. He then reset the record again with a 10.61 at 140 miles per hour in the Plymouth Cuda in SS/A at the Winter Nationals in Pomona, California. Now you can own a 1:18 scale replica of the Super Stock race car. It features a diecast metal body, detailed interior, injected Hemi engine, opening doors, trunk and hood, poseable steering, and serialized plate. Only 500 of these Limited Edition collectables are produced. Add the legendary East Town car to your display case!

1:18 Scale 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 Red Alert Drag Car Diecast Model

For most of its 40 years, the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS454 LS6 has been doing exactly what it was built to do: tear up the drag strip. Along the way, it's become arguably the most famous drag racing Chevelle ever, capturing the SS/DA class record in 1972 and setting an elapsed time of 10:75 at 123 mph on the way to winning Top Eliminator 14 of 16 events at Bradenton Dragway in Florida in 1976. Purchased new by A/FX racer Bob Hamilton as a Valentine's Day gift to his wife, the big-block beast was soon spending its Sundays at the local drag strip with Hamilton at the wheel. Sponsored by AMT and dubbed "Red Alert," it began its long and extremely successful career in 1971, setting the SS/DA national record during the 1972 season and owning the track record at New Jersey's Island Dragway for over two years. Hamilton sold "Red Alert" in 1976 to racer Terry Carney who, in 1990, partnered with Bill and Jan Stephenson to reintroduce the car to a new generation of fans and a new career in popular nostalgia drag racing. The car has since run the quarter mile in the low tens at over 130 mph. A true drag racing legend in every sense, the "Red Alert" Chevelle has always been expertly maintained and remains in splendid condition. It is almost entirely as Hamilton raced it, retaining its original sheet metal and interior and most of its original Cranberry Red paint. This replica 1:18 scale 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle LS6 Red Alert drag car diecast model features opening doors, hood, and trunk; poseable steering; detailed interior; tilting front seats; 454 wired and plumbed engine; drag wheels and tires; diecast metal body; fully detailed chassis; and serialized license plate. The collector's car is one of only 600 produced. Own a piece of racing history!

1:18 Scale 1966 Ford GT40 MKII F85 Diecast Model

Back in 1962, Henry Ford II was frustrated that The Ford Motor Company's reputation for high performance engineering was suffering. To win at Le Mans Ford needed a mid-engine, 200-plus-mph race car that could average more than 120 mph over a 24-hour period. In '63, Ford had nothing even in the design stage with that sort of performance potential. Henry II really wanted to win Le Mans and best Ferrari in the process, so he developed a hand-picked team of international automotive engineers and race car drivers to form a new Ford subsidiary in Slough, England, named Ford Advanced Vehicles Ltd. John Wyer, ex-Aston Martin team manager, directed the team, which included Broadley, Ford engineer Roy Lunn, New Zealand drivers Bruce McLaren and Chris Amon, as well as American racer Ken Miles. An unsuccessful Le Mans campaign in 1964 (mainly due to failures with the Colotti transaxle) saw Ford HQ in the USA hand the project over to Carroll Shelby, although FAV still played an important role. The improved GT40 MkII appeared to have the right combination of power and reliability, as proven by wins in the 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring in 1966. That gave Ford great confidence of finally being able to break Ferrari's winning streak at Le Mans, which stood at six coming into the 1966 event. Celebrate that legendary race car with this 1:18 scale 1966 Ford GT40 MKII F85 diecast model. Features include opening doors, trunk, and hood; poseable steering; detailed interior; plumbed and wired engine; and a stylish display platform. 1:18 Scale Vic Edelbrock 1932 Ford Salt Flat Roadster #3 Diecast Model

The Edelbrock '32 roadster is one of the most recognized cars in all of hot rodding! Vic Edelbrock, Jr. was an American automotive aftermarket performance parts engineer, racer and is considered one of the founders of the American hot rod movement. He had an impact on hot rodding unlike anyone else. His inventiveness, ability to create extraordinary performance from ordinary engines and ingenuity and dedication to engine building earned him a legacy that will last forever. In 1938, Vic Sr. bought a '32 Ford and used it to test new speed parts, more or less inventing "the project car." The first big seller from an Edelbrock project car was the Slingshot manifold. Vic became a consistent winner with his modified roadster at racing speeds of 112 mph. He would drive the Ford to the dry lakes, remove the fenders and the windshield, and then race the car. At the end of the races, he would re-install the fenders and the windshield and drive it home. This 1:18 scale Vic Edelbrock 1932 Ford Salt Flat Roadster #3 diecast model celebrates the birth of hot rods. Only 750 of the Limited Edition replicas were made. Add the legendary race car to your collection. Here are the many features included: * New windshield, frame, horns, and removeable tonneau cover * Opening doors and trunk * Poseable steering * Plumbed and wired engine * Fully detailed interior * Diecast metal body * Serialized plate
