Redcat Racing Everest Gen7 Pro 1:10 scale RTR rock crawlers are changing the way people buy RC crawlers, starting with a powdercoated 3mm ladder frame chassis designed and tuned by BPC Custom Chassis and Two Guys Trail Gear. The addition of the low slung forward mounted battery tray and steel electronics bridge creates a highly tunable platform that performs alongside customized crawlers costing twice as much. Gen7 Pros' one-of-a-kind, hinged body mount system allows easy access to the battery, ESC, and chassis. The front of the body is held in place using a high-strength hook-and-loop system, so there's no need to fumble with easily lost body clips. Between the inner roll cage, outer fenders, and roof rack, the realistic body is well protected and looks amazing. Other standard features found on the Gen7 Pro are inner fenders, a molded snorkel, folding mirrors, shackle mount bumpers with D-rings and ball hitch, LED mounts, and a roof rack loaded with scale accessories. On the roof rack you'll find a spare tire, jack, fuel cans, shovel, axe, and sand ladder. Gen7 Pro rock crawlers also include a Hobbywing brushed ESC, Licensed Interco Super Swamper tires, CVA front axles, and functional beadlock wheels. The stylish 4-door SUV body is similar to what you would find on many modern full size crawlers and is available in green or black. Also included is a die-cut decal sheet with black, white, red, and wood grain panel options to allow you to customize the Gen7 as your own, straight from the box. The lightweight, highly adjustable Pro chassis is a comp-specific design that's optimized for climbing, side hilling, and break over. The modular multi-piece axles are built with steel tubes and can accommodate a chassis-mounted (CMS) or axle-mounted (AMS) servo. The motor mount positions the motor low and forward in the chassis for improved weight distribution. The new transmission allows you to underdrive the rear axle by 40 percent or keep it in 1:1 ratio. This can be done manually or with a servo for remote adjustments on the trail. Under driving the rear axle allows for a tighter turning radius and reduces "torque twist" on climbs. Axial didn't just stop with a completely new chassis and transmission; the new aluminum smooth body shocks were designed to complement the new comp chassis. By eliminating the shock spring and collar from outside of the shock body, the aluminum smooth body, oil-filled shocks provide higher clearance when taking advantage of the SCX10 Pro's increased steering angle. The shocks' eye-to-eye length is 96mm and uses popular 12mm diameter springs. The lower shock cap features dual O-rings to prevent leaks and acts as the upper spring retainer, while the lower shock cup features a built-in bump stop that can be trimmed for fine-tuning your suspension.
