Your windshield has been analyzed by Coverking engineers using state-of-the-art 3-D scanning equipment, with that custom pattern tested for precise fit and durability to guarantee top performance. To achieve optimum insulation and reflection of heat and UV rays, most materials are not able to fold or roll. However, Coverking has developed a special high-density foam with superb insulation properties, and laminated it between two layers of Mylar. The outer layer is Mylar with an aluminized coating, which reflects virtually all UV rays; the inside layer is plain Mylar, adding rigidity and protecting the middle foam layer. The three layers work together to provide the best shield against heat and UV rays, and will withstand repeated folding and rolling, while maintaining a rigid shape on the windshield.
