Redcat Racing 1:8 scale 6S-ready Kaiju EXT is the ultimate monster truck in performance and stability. While the Kaiju EXT started off as an extended version of the original Kaiju, it has grown into a whole new beast. The Kaiju EXT has an extended wheelbase, along with some additional major performance upgrades: new belted tires, motor heatsink with fan, new motor mount, metal servo horn, rear wing, and a new race-bred body that includes a working air scoop. The chassis provides the truck with a wheelbase of 360mm; that's an additional 51mm over the original Kaiju. The original Kaiju is an incredibly fun truck to drive, especially while using a 6S LiPo to perform standing backflips and pulling wheelies at almost any speed. The Kaiju EXT is fully capable of the same backflips and even longer wheelies due to its added stability. The Kaiju EXT's chassis is super durable and encloses the entire drivetrain to protect it from rocks and debris. Three heavy-duty sealed differentials, each with metal internal gears, are designed to provide smooth performance—and are completely tunable. The center differential helps the Kaiju EXT perform like a race-bred monster truck on or off the track. Kaiju EXT is 6S-ready and will accept single 6S or double 3S LIPO batteries. If you prefer to run 4S through the Kaiju EXT, you'll be happy to know it's also capable of running a single 4S LIPO or double 2S LIPO batteries.
