Dakota Digital GPS speed sensor and interface modules are built for the custom automotive market. The highly advanced electronic and software design allows them to work unlike anything else, with accelerometers and predictive software to compensate for the times when GPS inherently struggles: overpasses, mountains, tunnels, heavy tree cover, large buildings, passing large vehicles, etc. Their unique electronic architecture provides for negligible current usage when off, and yet they offer lightning fast start-up and signal acquisition. Updating the speed information 10 times per second offers tremendous accuracy, while their integrated omnidirectional antenna provides for installation flexibility and simplicity. Doing an early GM transmission swap means recreating the high frequency rate that allows your ECM to receive the signals for proper operation. These Dakota Digital pulse generators are direct replacements for the stock GM internal speed sensors with 128,000 pulses per minute. With a standard female 7/8 in. thread-on fitting, they fit all GM transmissions with a mechanical speedometer cable outlet. The removable weathertight 10 ft. cable provides you with simple installation and cable routing. What was lost is now found, thanks to Dakota Digital and their high frequency pulse generators.
