Dakota Digital GPS speed sensor and interface modules are built for the custom automotive market. The highly advanced electronic and software design allows them to work unlike anything else, with accelerometers and predictive software to compensate for the times when GPS inherently struggles: overpasses, mountains, tunnels, heavy tree cover, large buildings, passing large vehicles, etc. Their unique electronic architecture provides for negligible current usage when off, and yet they offer lightning fast start-up and signal acquisition. Updating the speed information 10 times per second offers tremendous accuracy, while their integrated omnidirectional antenna provides for installation flexibility and simplicity. These modules do such a tremendous job of rendering the correct speed information, they can be used to feed an aftermarket cruise control system—and used in conjunction with a Dakota Digital VFD3 or VHX instrument system. A single data connection cable adds accurate speed information, compass positioning, altimeter data, and automatic clock syncing, all with fully automatic calibration. You'll have no DIP switches, no guessing, and no inaccuracies, period! The modules are also fully compatible with other electronic speedometers on the market. If you are running an aftermarket pump that is mounted external of the fuel tank, you will need to install a draw straw or drill your fuel tank to accommodate a sump. Each of these has some significant drawbacks including the 1/4 tank issues that result in cavitation of the pump when you draw air into the fuel system. To resolve this issue there are Fleece Performance SureFlo performance sending units. SureFlo units are designed to work with aftermarket lift pumps and fit directly into your stock sending unit location. Each one features factory-style quick disconnects to adapt your stock fuel lines at the tank, giving you the cleanest installation available, and requiring no cutting or drilling of the tank. Improved Racing's C5 Corvette oil temperature sensors function identically to the factory sensors, but uses the more common 1/8 in. NPT threads and features an extended wire harness for convenience. The factory C5 Corvette oil temp sensors utilize M12 threads, which are not compatible with most aftermarket oil cooler adapters and sensor blocks.
