You can target shaft rotational speed measurement with HardDrive speed sensors. Engine management speed sensors capture the vehicle speed on the gearbox and provide this information to the speedometer, delivering the input, output, or intermediate gear speed to the transmission control unit (TCU), which is responsible for managing the system.
