Every effort was made to incorporate OEM design elements regarding the layout, face styling, and indicators. Starting from scratch, these CNC-machined cluster housings are filled with electronics that raise the bar--in fact, the high-def message centers can be configured to display just about any piece of information needed. Dakota Digital once again raises the bar for aftermarket instrumentation with their RTX control boxes! These gauge control modules are designed to receive input from various sensors and sends signals to your gauge instruments. The RTX Retrotech control box is for use with Dakota Digital's Retrotech digital instrument system—which represents the latest electronic dashboard technology for the street rodder, car, and truck enthusiast alike. This RTX system combines modern digital electronics with a traditional look to give the driver up-to-date and accurate information on the operation of his or her vehicle. Once the gauge display panel (sold separately) is in place, simply mount the RTX control box within reach of the supplied display cable (approximately 3 feet). Be sure to choose a mounting location that will allow access to wire all of the inputs on either side of the control box. The RTX control box can be mounted via double-sided tape, hook-and-loop fasteners, or screws in the two tabs on the control box for securing it under the dash for the ultimate clean installation. All the connections on the control box are clearly labeled to provide you with an easy, straight-forward installation. A graceful, billet aluminum front bezel is integrated with the 2 in. deep black powdercoated housing, making this a one-piece solution. Six simulated analog readings displayed in 3 TFT displays are encompassed in the 12 in. x 5.7 in. body (11.655 in. x 5.295 in. cutout), requiring 2 in. of clearance on the backside.
