Classic Instruments speed signal interface modules will efficiently convert pulse signals to make sure your instruments and your transmission clearly understand each other. Classic Instruments Tap Shift Switch Modules
Classic Instruments tap shift switch modules are aftermarket control boxes that add manual "tap shift" control (upshift/downshift with a switch) to modern GM 6L80, 8L90, and 10L90 automatic transmissions, enabling them for engine swaps into older vehicles. The modules wire into the CANbus system and require a compatible GM ECM/TCM tune, providing features like a neutral safety switch and reverse light output for custom setups. In short, these are a translator box for your engine's computer, letting you control your modern automatic transmission manually in a custom project. Classic Instruments 1969-70 Mustang direct-fit gauge sets are all-electric clusters featuring a speedometer and tachometer with a set of two dual gauges reading fuel/oil and temperature/volts. They have halo green LED turn signal indicators and a red high beam indicator in the speedometer. Mounting hardware and a wiring harness is included to install with the original bezel and diffuser, and setup is a breeze with push-button speedometer calibration and a built-in ECM signal filter switch.
