BD Diesel Exhaust Manifold Bolt and Spacer Kits

Typical aftermarket exhaust manifold bolts are much shorter than stock which after numerous heat cycles can cause them to fatigue and start to stretch, leading to exhaust leaks and possible breakage after repeated re-torques. The finish and coating on most of these bolts can also lead to premature corrosion and zinc embrittlement. Replace damaged or corroded exhaust manifold bolts with BD Diesel class 10.9 bolts and spacers which improve thermal durability to stand up to the heat and non-Zinc plated fasteners prevent zinc embrittlement. We have put together these Summit Racing™ exhaust gasket and bolts Pro Packs to ensure a leakproof seal for your headers. They feature Fel-Pro Performance exhaust header gaskets made from high-temperature, high-density fiber material around a perforated steel core for durability and heat resistance. To provide a tight seal, we include Stage 8's Grade 8 locking header bolts. They use a patented system that consists of a grooved hex head bolt, a retainer, and a snap clip. The retainer fits over the bolt head and locks the bolt against the header tube, and the snap clip holds the retainer in place.
