A leaking heater hose can stop your vehicle dead in its tracks, but a basic repair with Continental OE Technology Series HY-T red heater hoses will have you back on the road in no time. The HY-Ts are for applications where excellent resistance to high underhood temperatures and antifreeze coolants is a requirement. The tube and cover are manufactured from EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber to give superior resistance to heat, ozone, and chemical coolants. Each hose is reinforced with 2-spiral synthetic for additional strength and durability. And because Continental HY-T red heater hoses meet specifications similar to SAE J20R3, they're tough enough to withstand some serious heat.
