Continental heater hoses use rugged construction; most are manufactured from Versigard rubber—a compound highly resistant to heat, oil, and weather. Their patented knit reinforcement is typically made with Tylanar fabric, a material that also meets the safety requirements. Some models incorporate other high-grade materials, as well.
