The correct AN-specified J-thread is used for ease of installation and trouble-free re-use. A lightweight polymer cap provides positive stop for hose installation and covers the cut end of the hose. Hose barb dimensions are per SAE standards and they have a tapered nipple for easy alignment and installation. Their bright-dip anodizing provides a show-quality finish. Most other fuel hoses are designed to handle fuel only on the inside and can be damaged if submersed in fuel.
