Summit Racing™ constant tension hose clamps are ideal for applications that are subject to thermal expansion and contraction. These clamps are designed to compensate for fluctuations in all types of hose line assemblies, preventing leaks, and they cannot be over/under-tightened. When temperature and/or pressure changes cause hose lines to expand or contract, these clamps adjust accordingly to provide consistent band tension. Popular applications are turbo and air charge cooling systems. They require less time for assembly, and constant-tension bands can be used in applications where a lower clamping force is sufficient.

Manufactured by Murray for Turbosmart, these Murray hose clamps are designed to compensate for the effects of thermal cycling and/or the compression set of the hose. Turbo-Seal's convoluted spring-action outer band solves this problem. They also feature a unique inner band profile to provide superior sealing pressure via its two raised ribs and chamfered edges to eliminate damage to the hose when tightened. Murray's unique Dual Bead Shield concentrates band sealing pressure, thus increasing performance by up to 30 percent over standard smooth liners.
