This heater core kit contains everything needed to replace your heater lines from the block to the firewall. It's designed as a direct replacement for all 12-valve Cummins trucks originally equipped with air conditioning. Kit includes: * Stainless steel heater tube - replaces Cummins 3912086 * Stainless steel heater tube - replaces Cummins 3912087 * Silicone heater hose (straight tube to block) - replaces Cummins 3931522 * Silicone heater hose (90 degree tube to block) - replaces Cummins 3957649 * Silicone heater hoses (45 degree tubes to firewall) * Anodized billet aluminum hold-down clamps, billet aluminum standoff, and mounting hardware for both stock and aftermarket manifolds * Hose clamps Application notes: * This kit (S0486) is intended for use with trucks originally equipped with air conditioning. Edelmann power steering pressure hoses are constructed to last. The covers are highly resistant to oil, heat, and ozone, that can cause ordinary assemblies to fail prematurely. The inside tube can withstand internal oil temperatures of up to 300 degrees F. Plus, high-tensile strength braided fabric helps these hoses withstand pulsation pressures of up to 1,500 psi and bursting pressures that exceed 6,000 psi. Tubing is coated with a zinc-aluminum alloy with an aluminum-rich epoxy topcoat, and the couplings and fittings are zinc plated for rust and corrosion protection.

Earl's Performance Ultra-Flex 660 hose uses the same inner tubing as Earl's KEVLAR®-covered Ultra-Flex 650 hose, but it is covered with high tensile strength 304 stainless steel braid. You get the same flow rate and flexibility advantages as their KEVLAR®-covered hose, but with additional protection. The carbon-lined inner tubing (for static dissipation) is smooth bore with a large ID for maximum flow; the convoluted exterior provides incredible flexibility. Ultra-Flex 660 hose is 40 percent lighter and has an average ID 14 percent larger than Earl's premium stainless braided rubber hose.
