Nickky Bobby S10 and G-Body bolt-on long travel shock towers will allow you to retain "stock style" suspension all while utilizing the tuning advantage of a 24 in. shock and a taller, lighter spring with more sprung energy. These brackets with the supporting recommendation pieces will net you around 10.5 in. of travel with maximum tuning ability! While these are bolt-on pieces. NBI highly recommends they be welded to the frame for maximum strength and durability. You will also have to cut spring pocket for clearance for new longer shock. Sold as pair (one for driver and one for passenger side). Hardware is included in kit for installation. The brackets themselves stand about 8 in. high off the frame and if you're running an LS, they have 6.5 in. of clearance from cylinder head on drivers side and 5 in. of clearance of passenger side (most GM vehicles have engine offset 1.5 in. to passenger side from factory for driver and steering clearance). The lowest point of your Bronco's undercarriage is the rear shock mounts, which means that the first thing that will hit and drag on rocks while you're on the trail is the rear shock mounts and/or the shocks themselves. This can cause damage to the mount or the shock itself, and especially on the Bilstein shocks with the external reservoir. Being a critical component that supports the weight of the vehicle, it's imperative to keep this portion of your undercarriage protected. That's why Mishimoto developed the Borne Off-Road Rear Shock Skid Plates for the 2021+ Ford Bronco. When it comes to skid plates, strength and coverage are obviously the most important features—so these plates are designed to provide coverage of your shock mount, shock, and shock reservoir if equipped. To provide strength and rigidity, the skid plates are fabricated from welded 3/16 in. plate steel, with three points of mounting, to ensure that they're tough enough to take blows on the trail and not allow rocks and debris to cause damage. Of course the plates will take hits, so Mishimoto not only covered them in a sleek and durable powdercoat finish, but first electrogalvanized plated them before powder—so even if you do chip or scratch the skid plates on obstacles, they will continue to be rust-resistant.
