Borne Off-Road Complete Skid Plate Kits

Borne Off-Road complete skid plate kits provide significantly greater strength, coverage, and protection over the factory underside shields, along with additional coverage for components not protected from the factory. Mishimoto's kits include their Borne Off-Road engine, transmission, transfer case, fuel tank, and differential skid plates. Designed to be tougher than nails, the plates are constructed from 5/32 in. plate steel and are ready to take whatever abuse you can to throw at them. Mishimoto added additional mounting points, all of which are recessed to provide a smooth bottom surface to eliminate the potential to shear off or get hardware caught on obstacles. All edges and corners are reinforced and bent at 80 degrees to provide even greater strength, and each one utilizes existing mounting points so there is no need to cut, drill, or weld to install. To ensure a long-lasting and durable finish, the skid plates are first electroplated via electro-galvanization and then powdercoated black.
