Trail-Gear Skid Plates

Twin transfer cases not only open up new avenues for off-roading, but make the long scary descents of the past feel like child's play. Now it's time to protect your investment with Trail Gear skid plates. These crossmember skids use 3/8 in. thick steel plate with tapered bolts to fight off the most serious abusers. They work with 4 or 5-speed manual transmissions, but are not intended for automatic transmission applications. With the extra torque of twin cases Trail Gear built these crossmembers with slotted mounting holes pre-drilled allowing a total of four mounting points instead of just two. Twin transfer cases provide ranges of reduction for everything from mud to the most extreme trails. Keep them protected with Trail Gear skid plates.
