AEV Conversions Skid Plates

What do you want to protect? The underside of your truck or Jeep can take a beating, especially off-road. Vital components like, engine, fuel tank, transfer case, rear differential, and intercooler could get damaged. AEV Conversions skid plates have your vehicle covered underneath with their variety of heavy-duty plates. They feature HSBS—Hot Stamped Boron Steel—construction, an ultra-high strength, press-hardened steel used in automotive applications for passenger impact protection because it is lightweight with an extremely high-yield strength (approximately 200,000 ksi vs. mild steel at 25,000 ksi). Depending on the vehicle application, some AEV skid plates will be made of steel tubing or 1 in. DOM tubular steel construction and finished with an OEM 2-stage, corrosion-resistant coating.

AEV Conversions Bumper Skid Plates

AEV Conversions offers bumper skid plates for a variety of Jeep applications. They're not only good looking, but protect your sway bar, impact beam, and steering as well. Manufactured from 5mm hot stamped boron steel (HSBS), the front skid plates are designed to work with both the RX and EX front bumpers. The plates have two dedicated lift points for a Hi-Lift Jack that holds the tongue in place beneath the bumper safely and prevents the jack from sliding sideways during use.
