Heatshield Products Color Sleeves
Heatshield Products color sleeves are an excellent way to protect wires, fuel lines, brake lines and more from thermal exposure while enhancing your vehicle's appearance. The special weaving of the color sleeves allow them to expand over fittings during installation and return to their original size. Heatshield sleeve coatings can withstand 1,200 degrees F continuously. Rolls are 25 ft. in length and have an adjustable inside diameter from 0.313 to 0.438 in. You can fasten the sleeves using Heatshield Products Thermal-Tie locking ties or hose clamps. Color sleeves are available in red, blue, yellow, black and tan.

Heatshield Products Lava Hot Rod Sleeves
Prevent vapor lock and shift cables from melting with Lava hot rod sleeves from Heatshield Products. The heat shields for fuel lines combine the best of two worlds, the flexibility of a rugged hot rod sleeve with the strength of lava rock fiber. Lava fiber is naturally acid, chemical, brake fluid, and chemical-resistant. Additionally, the fiber is 25 percent stronger than fiberglass and is abrasion-resistant. The special braid of these tube heat shield sleeves allows them to have an expandable inside diameter up to 15 percent. To expand the inside diameter, shorten the length or bunch up the Lava hot rod sleeve to allow it to slide on over fittings and terminals. Once over, expand or stretch the length to tighten the sleeve onto the line or hose. To cut, use a sharp knife or pair of scissors. Each kit includes four heat shrinks to seal the ends of the oil line heat shield sleeve to the cable, tube, or hose it is protecting. Remember a loose-fitting heat shield sleeve is okay if the ends are sealed to prevent heat from getting trapped between the sleeve and the component it is protecting.
