Our Summit Performance® headers are manufactured from mandrel-bent tubing for superior flow and greater horsepower. The headers feature a pressure-formed collector for a better flow rate and a JIG-welded tube-to-flange plate for a perfect fit. They're made for off-road and racing use only. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom-altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment. Available for a wide range of applications, they're offered in block hugger, competition, fenderwell, lakester, long tube, mid-length, shorty, upright, and turbo styles. Varying with the application, Flowtech headers are constructed from sturdy and lightweight cold-rolled mild steel or stainless steel for increased strength and durability. All tubing is mandrel-bent to provide consistent tubing diameter for smooth flow and increased exhaust velocity. Extra-thick, machined header flanges provide a leak-free seal and maximum strength. For long-term rust and corrosion-resistance, available finishes include natural and polished stainless steel, high heat-resistant black paint, or a satin silver metallic ceramic thermal barrier coating. All mounting hardware and premium gaskets are included. Important notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. On certain Ford trucks and vans, the original equipment studs connecting the catalytic converter to the exhaust manifold flange can typically rust and break, and removal can be difficult, but Dorman has an OE FIX. Their exhaust flange repair kits offer a cost-effective, faster, and much simpler way to securely reconnect the converter and flange using ordinary hand tools, and without drilling, heating, or welding. Dorman exhaust manifold flange repair kits contain a pair of sturdy stainless steel brackets designed to fit over the broken stud sections on the manifold flange, and feature an integrated threaded stud that slides through the catalytic converter mounting holes. Just push the threaded end of each bracket through the catalytic converter mounting holes, place the contoured side of each bracket against the exhaust flange and around the headless broken studs of the exhaust flange, and secure the connection with the included stainless steel nuts.
