Internally the system is open with a small offshoot path leading to the main chamber; this is designed to bounce soundwaves back into the exhaust flow path to eliminate unwanted frequencies. The main exhaust path is a straight through pipe with offset inlet and outlet. There are no harsh twists, turns, or baffles to slow exhaust flow. You'll get full uninterrupted flow for maximum power.
