We make both up and forward as well as down and forward turbo headers for LS Motors, Small and Big Block Chevys and Small and Big Block Fords. We accept special orders for these headers with custom flanges and tubing sizes for those that wish to attain the utmost from single or dual turbo powered machines. Hooker Super Competition sidemount headers and mufflers deliver the most aggressive style and performance for your early Corvette, Camaro, Nova, or Firebird. Sidemount headers are built from lightweight 18-gauge tubing. Sidetubes slip directly into the collector for a leak-free seal. They are available in your choice of three finishes: Show quality chrome, high heat-resistant black paint, and metallic ceramic coating. The replaceable mufflers are available separately in two different styles: glasspack and reverse flow. The glasspack style provides the highest performance with minimal backpressure and sound control, while the reverse flow is designed for maximum sound control. Since1958, they have been producing high-quality, hand-built, mandrel-bent exhaust headers. Each and every header is tuned with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all of the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, and resulting in dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. Doug's headers are carefully developed on the vehicles that they are intended to fit and are re-checked numerous times during the design and manufacturing process. Their designs include mid-length headers, Tri-Y headers, and long tube headers, plus manifold replacement headers.
