Stock exhausts generally strangle high-performance engines, but BBK has the answer for Mustang owners. Their Extractor series X-Chamber mid-pipes benefit from the company's die-stamped X-Chamber crossover, and can give you 12 to 25 more ponies right out of the box. Extractors are made from fully aluminized, 16-gauge, 2 1/2 in. tubing that's CNC mandrel-bent and set up with die-stamped flanges for excellent fit and easy installation. BBK's H-type mid-pipes have been helping owners get more power from their Mustangs with BBK full-length headers for quite a while. Now, however, BBK has added the Extractor series high-flow mid X-pipes to the party. They're made from fully aluminized 2 1/2 in. tubing and benefit from the improved flow characteristics of the company's die-stamped X-chamber crossover. For a good fit and ease of installation, Extractor pipes are computer mandrel-bent and fitted with die-stamped flanges. Street applications have catalytic converters; off-road-only types do not.
