Eddie Marine EMI Thunder standard cast aluminum risers are available in a polished or powdercoat finish. The exhaust risers are available for SBC and BBC applications—and designed for Mercruiser engine models with Eddie Marine EMI exhaust manifolds (not recommended for use with engines with aftermarket camshafts). These are the risers only; other exhaust components are sold separately.

Used with your EMI Thunder manifolds, these risers enable the exhaust to exit underwater at idles, keeping them quiet when you want it most. Their extended length design prevents reversion with most performance aftermarket camshafts. The risers have integral 10mm bungs to accommodate Merc 496 water temp sensors. Standard height and additional 3 in. height models are available.
