These tough headers use 3/8 in. laser-cut flanges to keep from warping, TIG-welding, and flat finishing for a leak-proof seal and to maximize strength. They aren't compatible with stock manual transmission reverse lock-out linkage, aftermarket, custom linkage or cable drive set-up required to maintain mechanism operation. Hooker Super Competition headers feature tuned primary tubes to create optimum pressure between the intake and exhaust systems. Hooker Super Competition headers include premium exhaust gaskets and new mounting bolts. Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This includes components like cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts and bushings, etc. If your vehicle is using aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom altered parts, then it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.
