They are designed with 3/8 in. thick laser-cut flanges, mandrel-bent primary tubes, and feature JBA's patented Firecone merge collectors. They're available in either steel or 409 stainless steel and are offered in a chrome plated or high-temperature silver ceramic finish for most applications. JBA includes premium-quality mounting hardware and instructions for the installation and, unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. This would include components such as cylinder heads, chassis, steering, motor mounts, body mounts, bushings, etc. If aftermarket components, parts from other applications, or custom-altered parts are used on your vehicle, it is the installer's responsibility to verify fitment.

Doug's Headers has long been recognized of as one of the premiere exhaust header manufacturers in the performance industry. Since1958, they have been producing high-quality, hand-built, mandrel-bent exhaust headers. Each and every header is tuned with the proper tube size and length to efficiently remove all of the exhaust from each cylinder, reducing pumping losses, and resulting in dramatic increases in horsepower and torque. Doug's headers are carefully developed on the vehicles that they are intended to fit and are re-checked numerous times during the design and manufacturing process. Their designs include mid-length headers, Tri-Y headers, and long tube headers, plus manifold replacement headers. Their headers come with all the necessary mounting hardware, collector reducers or connector pipes, premium extra-thick gaskets, and detailed installation instruction sheets. The gaskets are rated up to 1100 degrees F, pressures to 3700 psig (255 bar), and are designed for an exact port match with their headers. Doug's Headers offer a choice of finishes: * Metallic Ceramic Thermal Barrier Coating (MCTBC), which is polished with a vibratory finishing process that not only produces a high-luster aluminum appearance, but also compresses and activates the coating, which increases the surface hardness. The finish is 60 percent more corrosion resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier that significantly lowers under hood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. * Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC. This finish provides good corrosion and heat protection when compared to many of the "cheaper" header finishes being applied by our competitors. * Raw steel is available for individual customizing Unless otherwise noted, these headers are designed to fit the vehicle as it came from the manufacturer. These headers are made from durable 16-gauge tubing; feature TIG-welded, extra-thick 3/8 in. flanges for a leak-free seal, and come complete with premium gaskets and hardware. Plus, Flowtech Shorty headers are available in high heat-resistant black paint, ceramic thermal barrier coating or natural stainless finishes for improved rust and corrosion resistance. Additional features: * Designed as a direct fit replacement for OEM exhaust manifolds * High-flow, mandrel-bent tubes provide consistent tubing diameters for smooth flow and increased exhaust velocity Important notes: Breaking in an engine with ceramic coated headers WILL result in damage to the coating and will VOID all warranties. Backed by 40-plus years of knowledge and experience, Thorley headers are designed to outflow your stock exhaust manifolds. These headers increase gas mileage and give your engine more horsepower across the entire rpm range. Their design configuration builds the most power across the rpm range, which is great for everything from street/strip performance, to towing, to steep grades. To make these headers last, Thorley made them out of durable 14-gauge mild steel with 3/8 in. thick flanges and 5/16 in. collector rings or 13 gauge stainless steel with ½ in. thick flanges and topped them off with a good looking, nickel chrome plated finish or a high temperature ceramic coating. To prevent leaks, these headers have an O-ring welded into the flange, in addition to the high-temperature gasket provided.
