With regular wire looms, one normally uses zip ties to hold everything tight, and then electric tape to close off the slit in the looms. Good luck adding additional wires later on. Vibrant sleeves feature self-wrapping split braids that allow for the addition or removal of its contents without complete disassembly. They feature a 25 percent edge overlap and allow for tight radius bends without distortion or splitting open. Vibrant recommends cutting this sleeving with a hot knife to prevent fraying.
