Installing headers can sometimes be a real pain, due to the tight spaces and the location and shape of the tubes. Mr. Gasket can help make installation a little easier and also help prevent annoying exhaust leaks from under-tightened header bolts. They have both the socket-head and hex-head styles of header bolts available. Hex types are heat-treated Grade 5 steel and have smaller-than-standard heads to ease access in tight spaces. Socket-head bolts are made from stronger Grade 8 steel for added ruggedness and they're great for those really difficult-to-reach spots. Both styles have a protective black oxide finish.

Patriot full-length chassis and fenderwell headers provide the ultimate in performance for street rods and musclecars with high performance engines. Other features include a close fit with the engine block for maximum chassis and steering clearance, mandrel-bent tubing, and new gaskets and bolts. The finish is 60 percent more corrosion resistant than an unpolished surface, easy to maintain, and will last for years under normal operation conditions. MCTBC also protects and extends the life of headers by creating a thermal barrier (heat-resistant up to 1,600 degrees F) that significantly lowers under hood temperatures and protects the substrate metal from thermal fatigue. * Hi-Temp black coating is an affordably priced alternative to their MCTBC. This finish provides good corrosion and heat protection when compared to many of the "cheaper" header finishes being applied by our competitors. * Raw steel is available for individual customizing
