APR Porsche sport exhaust valve muffler delete pipes are optional valves used with the APR cat-back exhaust system to quiet the exhaust note on vehicles originally equipped with the Porsche sport exhaust valve. Simply swap out the APR cat-back straight-pipes with the muffler delete units. V-bands and precision clamps are included to make removal and mounting a snap. The pipes are created from T304 stainless steel with brushed finish and are TIG-welded throughout. The valves are cast of APR's own proprietary design. The systems mate to the factory actuator via precision-cut brackets. The straight-though brushed finish mufflers smooth the exhaust note to a deep growl, without adding restrictions, while the Helmholz resonator reduces unwanted frequencies. The APR turbo muffler delete pipes are designed to replace the factory muffler with a straight, uninterrupted piece. The delete pipes are CNC-machined from billet aluminum and anodized black. To ensure proper sealing, APR's engineers took a two-part approach. A Viton® seal is included and forms a seal between the base of the muffler housing and the new piece. With the seal in place and the outer flange installed, the muffler delete tube screws into place, forming a full, uninterrupted path for airflow. For a smooth, turbulence free, and leak-proof path for airflow existing in your turbo, install one of the APR turbo muffler delete pipes.
