Internally the system is open with a small offshoot path leading to the main chamber; this is designed to bounce soundwaves back into the exhaust flow path to eliminate unwanted frequencies. The main exhaust path is a straight through pipe with offset inlet and outlet. There are no harsh twists, turns, or baffles to slow exhaust flow. You'll get full uninterrupted flow for maximum power. The APR turbo outlet hoses replace the factory rubber hose and worm-gear clamps with a high-quality multi-ply silicone hose and strong Clampco T-bolt clamps. The interior of the hose is smooth and lined with a Fluorosilicone material designed to resist oil degradation and extend component life. EZ-Flow stepped lips within the hose allows for a smooth connection from hose to pipe for uninterrupted airflow.
