Inspired by Dart's championship winning Pro Stock designs, Dart Pro 1 aluminum cylinder heads cover a wide range of applications from street cars and trucks to all-out racing. Heads designed for street performance and mild bracket racing offer excellent mid-range torque and power, and are excellent for heavier vehicles. Competition heads are ideal for maximum effort naturally aspirated, big boost forced induction, or nitrous applications. Dart Marine Pro 1 cylinder heads feature an exclusive chromate surface finish to inhibit corrosion and extend the life of the head. They are also fitted with Inconel exhaust valves to withstand the extended running time and temperatures typical of marine usage. Dart's as-cast ports flow more than many ported designs at a much more affordable price. But they also offer fully CNC-machined heads with every intake port, exhaust runner, valve bowl, and combustion chamber shaped by their 5-axis, computer controlled machining centers to produce compound curves and complex shapes that no human could duplicate with a hand grinder. Available bare or fully assembled, long-wearing bronze valve guides, screw-in studs, multi-angle intake seats with hardened, radiused exhaust seats are standard on most heads. Assemblies typically include stainless steel valves, premium springs, locks, retainers, guide plates, and seals. Many Pro 1 heads include race-proven features such as improved spark plug location, extra-long intake valves, raised exhaust ports, and fast burn chambers. They are offered an extensive variety of valve angles, intake port volumes and shapes, exhaust port locations, valve sizes, and chamber volumes.

Utilizing years of valvetrain design experience, the latest FEA stress analysis technology, and an exhaustive testing regiment (dyno and Spintron), COMP Cams engineering team left no detail to chance. Everything from casting techniques to valve spring clearance was scrutinized to ensure that Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms not only lived up to the lofty standards of their predecessor, but also took stud mount rocker performance, stability, and value to a whole new level. The most noticeable advancement centers around their nearly unbreakable investment cast 8650 chromoly body. The arched, web-like design delivers a nearly 29 percent increase in strength and rigidity, while reducing the moment of inertia and optimizing the dynamic balance. The resulting rockers maximize lift and valvetrain control at high rpm. The increased retainer and valve spring clearances of the new design enable the use of large-diameter valve springs, retainers, and locks, without clearance or fitment issues. The new black oxide exterior finish offers a distinctive appearance, along with long-term corrosion resistance. The COMP Cams Ultra Pro Magnum rocker arms feature an oversized trunnion and precision-sorted needle bearings designed for use with high-load valve springs. These unique rockers also feature hardened roller tips for reduced friction and elimination of the valve stem "side loading" that causes premature valve guide wear.

COMP Cams shaft mount aluminum rocker arms are one of the most cost-effective ways to increase horsepower. These shaft rockers were designed using the latest in computer software and engineering. They center the roller tip over the valve tip at the correct time so that the roller tip is never more than 0.020 in. off-center of the valve tip. At the greatest load point, the roller tip contact is on the center of the valve. At valve closing, the roller tip contact is slightly behind the valve centerline. When the valve is at full open, the tip contact is slightly behind the centerline of the valve. The results are more horsepower and better performance.

ARP Pro Series main bolts are application-specific and rated at 190,000 psi. Designed for use in competition engines, as well as to meet the exacting standards and demands of professional engine builders, ARP bolts are forged from 8740 chromoly steel and feature a reduced wrenching head, large underhead radius, and rolled threads for the utmost in reliability. The threads are rolled after heat-treating which gives them about 2,000 percent better fatigue strength than most main bolts that are threaded prior to heat-treating. Hardened parallel-ground washers are included with each kit.

Since their release, Jesel Sportsman Series shaft rocker arms have proven themselves to be the ultimate replacements for inadequate stud rocker assemblies on OEM and aftermarket cylinder heads. The 2024 aluminum bodied rocker arms are designed to withstand open spring pressures of up to 900 lbs., while maintaining precise valve lash settings. They are designed to bolt on with little to no cylinder head modifications and in most cases still fit under a stock valve cover. Are you looking for big torque and horsepower numbers? AFR's 325cc Magnum big block Chevy line of medium-volume intake runners will provide you with exactly that. The phrase "having your cake and eating it too" would certainly be appropriate with their moderately sized intake runners producing tremendous flow figures across the entire lift range. These high-flow/high-velocity ports provide extreme versatility and fill the needs of many applications. From a max-effort high-compression 454 to a 605 c.i.d. low-rpm marine application, these aluminum cylinder heads would be a great choice. AFR Magnum heads would also be ideal in larger cubic inch Pro Street applications with their broad torque range, as well as their significant rpm and horsepower capabilities. These cylinder heads will work best with a primary operating range of 3,000-7,000 rpm (this range is an average and will vary with engine displacement as well as component selection). These 325cc heads come standard with AFR's trademark 3/4 in. thick head deck, reinforced rocker stud bosses, and premium one-piece stainless steel 2.300 in. intake and 1.880 in. exhaust valves. The standard combustion chamber volume is 119cc on these AFR's 325 "as-cast" pieces. The heads are available with an optional 114cc combustion chamber as well.

ARP Pro Series rocker arm studs are ideal for competition applications. They are made from 8470 chromoly steel and are heat-treated to 200,000 psi tensile strength. They are concentric within .005 T.I.R. thread pitch to thread pitch, which will give you more consistent rocker geometry. With an extra-large radius base, these studs are more resistant to flex and will provide a more positive seating. Pro Series rocker arm studs were designed for use with Perma-Loc adjusters (not for use with OEM-style, self-locking nuts).
