Eliminate fastener problems with Stage 8's complete line of locking bolt kits. They provide a simple, yet effective method to insure that your fasteners do not loosen unexpectedly. Each fastener uses a mechanical clip to lock it in place, and preventing it from backing out. The clip acts like leaving a small wrench on the bolt head, as the clip prevents the fastener from turning. Easier to use than safety wire, and cleaner than chemical thread lockers, it remains locked in place until manually disassembled. Improved Racing set out to design the best air-oil separating catch cans specifically for the factory supercharged vehicles. Focused on three simple design goals: maximized efficiency, durability, and ease of use, the development of the CCS oil catch cans happened over several years and included ANSYS Fluent CFD simulations, extensive bench tests, and on-vehicle street and track tests. Final prototype testing also included a 9-month beta testing program in collaboration with various road racers, drag racers, and drifters. The new Hemi engines from Chrysler are great power plants straight from the factory, with technology that allows the camshafts to move in real time. Instead of scrapping this advanced system, COMP Cams has embraced it with a new line of aftermarket Hemi-specific cams. The patent-pending Hemi phaser camshafts work with phaser limiters or locks to fully utilize Chrysler's Variable Valve Timing (VVT) technology, which allows them to pick up torque in the low end of the engine, while maintaining power up high. Made from a billet core, these hydraulic roller cams are engineered tough enough to handle 5.7L and 6.4L Hemi street/strip engines. Are you looking for big torque and horsepower numbers? AFR's 325cc Magnum big block Chevy line of medium-volume intake runners will provide you with exactly that. The phrase "having your cake and eating it too" would certainly be appropriate with their moderately sized intake runners producing tremendous flow figures across the entire lift range. These high-flow/high-velocity ports provide extreme versatility and fill the needs of many applications. From a max-effort high-compression 454 to a 605 c.i.d. low-rpm marine application, these aluminum cylinder heads would be a great choice. AFR Magnum heads would also be ideal in larger cubic inch Pro Street applications with their broad torque range, as well as their significant rpm and horsepower capabilities. These cylinder heads will work best with a primary operating range of 3,000-7,000 rpm (this range is an average and will vary with engine displacement as well as component selection). These 325cc heads come standard with AFR's trademark 3/4 in. thick head deck, reinforced rocker stud bosses, and premium one-piece stainless steel 2.300 in. intake and 1.880 in. exhaust valves. Their extended intake flange and raised runners work with Yates-style manifolds, and their raised exhaust port fits standard Yates header flanges. Summit Racing™ valve cover baffle kits are perfect for installing a breather system on your valve covers. They're designed for use on valve covers that do not have breather holes—or when an extra one is needed in a different location. The kits feature either a 1 in. double O-ring I.D. for use with most push-in breathers, or a -12 AN male thread for use with EVAC systems. They are baffled to prevent unwanted oil from pushing out of the breather. The baffles require an appropriately sized hole drilled into the cover; and include a lock nut, sealing washer, O-ring, and threaded baffle. Some models also include a breather.
