Summit Racing™ Pro LS Truck Swap cams are affordable and give you maximum punch where the torque converter hits. The cam lobes are designed for excellent valvetrain longevity. Both drop-in or high-lift versions are available. They come in stages allowing you to quickly determine which gives you the idle and efficiency you are looking for. Idle response and the midrange torque from theses camshafts is unmatched. Starting with American bearing steel, they are precision machined on a Landis 3LB CNC grinder with CBN diamond wheels for an extremely good finish quality. The lobes have been designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in commonly available, quality spring packs.

Still thinking in terms of LSA and duration splits? These cams are designed on a whole other level by tuning each of the four valve events separately. Having a cam with attitude doesn't mean it has to be a dog at low rpm. We've tuned each of the four valve events to maximize power and torque in the range you will be running in. You CAN have your cake and eat it too. Summit Racing's™ affordable E303 Plus, B303 Plus, and F303 Plus are designed to tune easily and have the idle you're looking for. We've applied the latest lobe technology, and the valve events have been tweaked for modern intake manifolds and cylinder heads. The Pro SBF lineup ranges from a 204-duration daily driver tow cam to a 252 duration 8k rpm barn-burner. They are ground in fine increments to match your specific engine's top-end, displacement and intended rpm range. If you're looking for a cost-effective camshaft solution to delete that pesky DOD—Chevrolet Performance stock replacement non-DOD camshafts are the answer. They're designed to work with OEM valve springs/pushrods in the DOD-equipped Gen 4 trucks. These OEM camshafts are standard equipment on non-DOD 5.3L trucks. Since they come as a single-bolt style, new timing gear won't be necessary. Just swap cams and additional DOD delete parts (sold separately) and you're ready to roll! A fairly stock truck shouldn't require dyno tuning; however, the DOD system must be disabled in ECU for proper functionality. It is advised to consult with your tuner for more information. This ensures maximum performance and gives you the idle you are looking for. The lobes are designed for stability at high rpm with the spring pressures found in quality .600 and .670 in. spring packs. They have the overlap of big race cams YET work with a stock converter and flat top pistons! They makes so much torque, gears are no longer required - but 4.11's are always the fastest. Headers and free flowing exhaust recommended but Zoomies really let folks know you're not playin' around.
