They also allow you to retain your stock oil filter location. The integrated thermostat reduces warm-up time by keeping the bypass closed until the oil reaches 180 degrees F. Improved Racing oil cooler adapters have a low-profile for more header clearance. The adapters are machined from a single piece of billet aluminum and black anodized.
