Dura-Bond offers Killer Bee valve seat inserts for a variety of vehicle and LS engine applications. These are the seats for the air intake valve and air exhaust valve. Many of the late model blocks have taller lifter bores, which means standard seat height lifters with an offset require manual notching of the lifter bore for pushrod clearance. Crower developed a lifter with a +.300 in. higher pushrod seat to solve this problem. AFR designed these valve spring seats to protect your aluminum head from the harder valve springs. When a valve spring is free to move slightly on an aluminum head, it will quickly wear and damage the cylinder head itself. These valve spring seats have been developed to prevent this type of damage from occurring.
