Holley Ford Mid-Mount Accessory Drive Systems
Holley's mid-mount accessory drives are available for small-block Ford engines. These systems have all accessories pulled in tighter than other accessory drives. At their heart is a "bracket-less" mounting design—the accessories mount directly to a uniquely designed timing cover for a clean, integrated form. This product offers superb engine visibility to show off your engine, not unsightly accessory brackets. The premium alternator utilizes 6-phase technology as found on the C7 Corvette and only requires a one-wire hookup. The water pump cartridge also shares its design efficiencies with that of the C7 Corvette. A compact and reliable SD7 A/C compressor and Type II power steering pump with baffled reservoir are also integrated. This system design provides two heater hose return port locations (upper top and passenger-side low). The mid-mount system comes complete with everything you need: the water pump, A/C compressor, alternator, and power steering pump with reservoir. All pulleys and the belt are supplied, along with heater hose adapters, power steering to-6 AN hardline, and the alternator plug/harness. Color graphical instructions walk you through every step for an easy installation. Systems are available with a natural or black finish. Vehicles that endure prolonged sessions of braking, turning, and accelerating need extra protection from oil starvation. That's where Holley retrofit oil pan baffle kits for the GM LS engines come in handy. They are designed to maintain proper oil level at the oil pump pickup during vehicle accelerations, both lateral and linear. The baffle maintains the oil at the oil pump pickup preventing loss of engine oil pressure during maximum cornering in a high performance touring or road racing, as well as under hard acceleration in drag racing vehicles. The baffle is fabricated from sheet aluminum joined by TIG-welded joints. Directionally positioned one-way trap doors allow oil flow towards the oil pump pickup but not away.
