JE Pistons Tour Series Gas Ported Pistons
JE Pistons Tour series gas ported pistons have undergone engineering changes to handle higher horsepower 4-barrel applications (approximately 650 hp) and angle-milled heads. Both the 350 and 400 Series accept oversize valves (the intake pocket is 2.255 in. and the exhaust pocket is 1.870 in.) and long-duration, tight lobe separation cams. Ring grooves are precision-machined for .043, .043, 3.0mm backcut rings with lateral gas ports for a superior ring seal.

JE Pistons APBA 427 pistons are designed specifically for use with American Power Boat Association-approved Dart Pro-1 or GM cylinder heads. These big block pistons are forged using 2618 aluminum, yielding the high-tensile strength needed for high-demand performance applications and are designed specifically for the engine and use application to provide optimized performance durability. They are offered individually or in a set of eight. Additional features: * Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design minimizes friction and power loss with reduced skirt width and saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin * Skirt coating (depending on application) reduces friction and wear on piston skirts and cylinder walls while simultaneously reducing operating noise * Accumulator groove (depending on application) helps reduce pressure from combustion gases, reducing ring fluttering and improving ring seal for consistent power

JE Pistons Big Block Flat Top Pistons
These big block flat top pistons by JE Pistons are compatible with forced induction, nitrous, and angle-milled heads. Valve reliefs will accommodate oversized valves and long-duration, tight lobe separation cams. Their compression height is figured using a 9.780 in. block height with zero deck clearance. Precision CNC-machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. These pistons will fit both open and closed chamber cylinder heads.
