Many engine builders prefer to use stud-style fasteners instead of bolts, since it gives them the opportunity to align the valve cover gaskets with precision before installing the valve covers themselves.
Valve covers may be attached by bolts around the perimeter, with centerbolts through the top, or both. Be sure to select a kit that matches your thread size and fastener count.

Proform Mopar Licensed valve cover fasteners feature design cues that set them apart from the competition. Available in black crinkle or chrome finishes, they are manufactured from high-quality steel and designed with wide shoulders are the lower ends of the wing nut shafts for broader load distribution. Each is supplied with a separate stud, which permits precise gasket positioning on the head prior to mounting the valve covers. Proform Mopar valve cover fasteners prominently display the Omega emblem in signature blue inlaid paint on pentagon-shaped heads—reminiscent of the early days of the Chrysler Pentastar.
