Hastings Claimer Series Performance piston ring sets are for builders wanting value without sacrificing precision and performance. They start with top rings made from proprietary shell-mold cast iron with plasma moly impact-resistant alloy, providing a hard, yet lubricating, low-friction structure. The plasma moly coating improves wear resistance, reduces scuffing, traps lubricating oil, and is compatible with a wide range of cylinder bore materials.
