JE Pistons 302/351W big bore dome top pistons for small block Ford are available in large bore sizes to accommodate new aftermarket race blocks and most aftermarket and factory heads. Their precision CNC-machined ring grooves accept 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. Cleveland and TFS twisted wedge heads will require custom pistons.

JE Pistons 427/428 FE inverted dome top pistons are specially designed for aftermarket blocks and heads and are for use with the 427 or the 428 crank aftermarket 6.700 in. rod. Be sure that the factory block is sonic-checked for 4.280 in. and 4.310 in. bores. These pistons use 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. The compression ratios are figured for 10.150 block height. Larger bore sizes are available as customs; please contact the manufacturer for details.
