Mahle PowerPak Pistons

Mahle PowerPak pistons are forged pistons with steel pins and wire locks. The pistons are hand-deburred and then coated with dry phosphate to protect against ring micro-welding and pin galling during initial startup. For additional performance, Mahle added its proprietary Grafal anti-friction coating to the piston skirts. Part numbers with T on the end have a cutting edge ceramic-based thermic barrier. The barrier is resistant to thermal shock, insulates the piston crown, and reduces heat transfer to increase performance. These replacement pistons are available in a wide variety of size options for fitment with specific engines and pistons. Show Less
