Each 1 qt. tank includes a reusable clamp-on breather, an AN inlet fitting, a drain valve, a plug, and mounting hardware. They are available in a choice of plastic or aluminum with a natural finish.

Improved Racing Oil Pan Baffles
Proper oil pan baffling is critical for improving oil control and reducing oil starvation in high performance engines. Improved Racing oil pan baffles provide effective, track-proven protection against oil starvation for road racing, drifting, autocross, drag racing, and even off-roading and rock crawling. The baffles use trap doors to keep oil around the pickup tube and provide vastly improved oil control over the stock baffles. They are sufficient to prevent oil pressure drops at up to 1.4 sustained lateral Gs in most vehicles. Even semi-dry sump systems suffer from oil aeration when the pickup tube in the oil pan sucks up air, aerates the oil, and fills the dry sump tank with foamy oil. Foamy oil is compressible and results in oil pressure drops when pumped into the engine. Improved Racing baffles help keep more oil around the pickup tube in the oil pan, reducing oil aeration and improving oil pressure. Features and benefits include: * Directional trap door baffling completely encloses the oil pump pickup for maximum protection against oil starvation at high Gs * 100 percent bolt-in, no welding necessary; most are direct replacements for stock steel baffles * Baffle plates with drainback slots help to accelerate the return of oil to the bottom of the sump, while also preventing oil slosh and reducing oil consumption * Reduce the risk of oil starvation when oil levels are low * Work with OE cast aluminum oil pans, often a structural member of the engine block, and are less prone to failure or leaking than sheet metal oil pans * Lightweight aluminum construction * Solid body aircraft rivets used to secure trap doors * Limited lifetime warranty

Summit Racing™ ultimate oil separators and catch cans protect your engine by capturing oil and water vapors trapped in your crankcase that normally find their way through the PCV system and into the intake tract to be burned in the combustion process, which could leave deposits or cause detonation. The design team at Summit Racing™ started with a clean sheet to build a unique baffling system that catches nearly 100 percent of air born oil and other vapors. Various models are available that vent externally, recirculate, or recirculate with a pressure relief system.
