S&S Cycle Oil Pump Kits

If you're overhauling an older motorcycle engine or building a lubrication system from scratch, consider the turnkey ease of S&S Cycle oil pump kits. They offer the same width oil supply and return gears as a stock Harley-Davidson® aluminum pump, but these driveshaft gears increase potential oil volume delivery by 25 percent over stock on some engines. S&S pumps are machined with an oil pressure bleed-off passage, relieving pressure build-up on top of the valve to maintain consistent oil pressure. Excess oil is also routed directly to the supply side of the pump to reduce the amount returned to the tank—which means less foaming and cavitation. The kits are available for a variety of bikes, including Big Twin models. S&S Cycle High-Volume High-Pressure Oil Pump Kits

S&S Cycle high-volume high-pressure oil pump kits feature gears with fewer, but larger teeth, providing increased oil volume for both the supply and return sides of the pump. The supply gears are 9 percent wider than stock and standard S&S oil pumps. They're also 28 percent wider than stock return gears to ensure proper crankcase scavenging, reduced drag on the flywheels, less oil in the crankcase, and less oil carryover. S&S Cycle high-volume high-pressure oil pumps are no thicker than a stock pump and include a universal cover.
