All piston engines produce crankshaft torsional vibration. TCI Rattler torsional vibration absorbers counteract those vibrations by using internal rollers that automatically offset the twisting forces and eliminate the root cause of torsional vibration. They are effective for the entire RPM range and extend crankshaft and bearing life while also increasing valvetrain stability. Their design does not utilize viscous fluids and they are lighter than most dampers of the same size and material construction. Rattler vibration absorbers feature steel rollers that fit loosely into a specific number of holes. By using an exact, patented, mathematical relationship, the rollers roll forward during the compression stroke and backward during the power stroke to keep engine speed variation and vibration to a minimum. The rollers are actually centrifugal pendulums that store and release energy back into the crankshaft rather than converting it to heat energy as dampers do. They are not frequency specific, but are based on the number of cylinders or the events per revolution so they are practical for street use, as well as track and drag strip use. All Professional Products PowerForce Plus dampers feature a bonding process, which adheres the elastomer to the i.d. of the inertia ring and the o.d. of the hub. Through subsequent research and development, Professional Products has perfected a new process that utilizes a stronger adhesive, along with an improved elastomer, to create a much stronger bond. Professional Products dampers all feature clear, white, easy-to-read timing marks against a painted black background. In addition, they engrave a mark every 90 degrees, which is also painted white (90 degree marks are not on small block Ford dampers). You won't find any dampers that are more accurately balanced or more closely machined for the correct fit than the Powerforce or Powerforce Plus line of high performance street or SFI Spec racing harmonic dampers.

These thin-walled shaft repair sleeves are simply pushed in position over the worn area, providing a counterface surface that is optimized for radial shaft seals. Since the same sized seal as the original can be used, there's no need to search for other seals or to keep a stock of different sizes. No special equipment is required since the installation tool is supplied with the Speedi-Sleeves. A mallet and a pair of pliers are all you need for the installation. These replacement parts use a proprietary stainless steel material and manufacturing process, resulting in an optimized seal counterface surface that minimizes wear on both sleeve and sealing lip. The proprietary material provides increased strength and excellent ductility properties of the sleeve.
