PRW Elite Series SFI-rated racing FluidGel dampers are made with an internal steel inertia ring that is surrounded by a high-viscosity silicone gel. The inertia ring "floats" in the silicone gel to combat the engine harmonics at all rpm ranges. The external balance applications feature a removable hub in order to accurately blueprint the engine and balance the assembly. ATI Super Damper Serpentine Series harmonic balancers are patented and feature grooves for serpentine belts machined into the outer damper shell. The dampers come with six outer grooves for standard OEM drive systems—but eight and 10 grooves are available for supercharger or turbo applications. Serpentine dampers are offered in a variety of diameters, and crank hubs may be fitted with a 6-groove serpentine pulley to drive external oil pumps or vehicle accessories.
