Scat engine rotating assemblies are available with either a high-quality Scat forged 4340 crankshaft or Scat's Series 9000 cast crankshaft, plus I-beam or H-beam connecting rods with 7/16 in. or 3/8 in. cap screw bolts. For maximum power and reliability, Scat adds rod and main bearings from King, Federal Mogul, or Clevite 77, depending upon the application—and pistons and piston rings made by such well-known manufacturers as SRP/JE, Ross, KB, Mahle, Diamond, and Probe. Kits with cast and standard forged pistons have standard rings; kits with premium forged pistons have file-fit rings. Their assemblies feature 4340 forged steel crankshaft and H-beam connecting rods, either 7/16 in. ARP 8740 cap screws with a 750 hp rating for LS engines/900 hp for big blocks, or optional ARP 2000 cap screws for up to 1,500 hp. They use 2618 Platinum Series forged aluminum pistons, chromoly premium wrist pins, Total Seal piston rings, and Clevite "H" Series narrowed rods and "P" or "H" Series main engine bearings. These kits contain nearly everything needed to take a stock 80 in. Harley-Davidson© Evolution Big Twin engine up to 96 in. displacement. They include S&S 3-5/8 in. bore aluminum Sidewinder cylinders and forged pistons, a 4 5/8 in. stroke dynamically balanced S&S flywheel assembly, complete with S&S heavy-duty connecting rods and mainshafts, head gaskets, base gaskets, and exhaust gaskets. Stock cases will need to be bored out to 3 5/8 in. Cylinders are available in a natural, gloss black, or wrinkle black finish.

Perfect for the most extreme competition engines, including exotic fuels, heavy nitrous, and high boost, Eagle's HD rotating assemblies are equipped with Eagle's forged 4340 center-counterweighted crank (when available), forged H-Beam rods with ARP 2000 or L19 bolt upgrade and purpose-built heavy duty pistons. The pistons used in Eagle's heavy-duty assemblies are built for high boost levels or bucket-loads of nitrous. Every part is top-of-the-line and ready to support whatever you want to throw at it. Most all assemblies are available balanced or unbalanced if you'd rather your machine shop balance it. Along with crank, rods, pistons, every assembly includes bearings from either King or Clevite and rings suited to the intended application. Externally balanced assemblies balanced by Eagle will also include a harmonic damper and flexplate (or flywheel for some Fords) from Pioneer.
